in pursuit of a life less restless

i dreamed, i woke in africa

hey everyone, bodhi again. you’re not going to believe the story i’m about to tell.

i was taking a nap in the car. we were driving up a mountain road and i was dreaming. i was dreaming i was soaring like a bird, over magnificent, new landscapes.

and then i was back on the ground and there were other birds too, but not like birds i had ever seen before. they came in wild shapes and colors. and some had no colors but black and white, and they waddled along without flying. and one of them was huge, with a big serpent-like neck!

and i kept looking around and there were all of these other types of landscapes, and new patterns i had never seen before.

next in my dream at one of these landscapes, the clouds moved to make way for a glorious rainbow spreading across the sky…..

and all of a sudden i encountered a huge, mischievous, clumsy beast! every time he moved he shook the world around me, and he made so much noise! he was so clumsy and noisy that i woke up to find another strange sight. it was my dad. climbing to the roof of the car to set up his camera.

he pulled me out of my car seat and we both turned around to watch my dream begin to come true.

i was in africa.

Bodhi, you are so smart! I cannot believe you are younger than Phoebe, but know so many more big words. Please tell your parents you want to come over to play.
